Margay (Leopardus wiedii) Tilarán Cordillera, Costa - TopicsExpress

Margay (Leopardus wiedii) Tilarán Cordillera, Costa Rica. Hello every one! I will be the first to admit that I am a bird lover and because of that is the subject I focus my effords (and money for that matter) on. But being in the rain forest and not be open to what pacha mama wishes to show us is not smart. Last May I was leading a private group of photographers from Washington and we started to look for birds one morning just before breakfast as it has proved to be a good plan lately. Suddently we find this beautiful margay (Leopardus wiedii) foraging in the area right were we were waiting for a crested guan! we were so focused on the birds there that we did not even noticed the presence of this amazing and rare mammal! That was a spectacular morning indeed! Camera Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV Lens: EF 300mm f/4L IS USM Shutter speed: 1/80sec. (Yes, it is very dark inside the rain forest!) Aperture: f/4 ISO: 2000 Prints available, please let me know if you are interested in one of my images as I can ship worldwide.
