Clarification from Kim Prillhart regarding the picture proofs pick up... Hello, Working with a new photographer means working thru some glitches. Photographers that do school pictures have a routine, but unfortunately homeschooling families do not fit that mold. It has been a little confusing this year, especially for the staff, so please be patient as we try to work out these issues. I have had many questions, so I want to clarify exactly what you are picking up as far as a “proof”. I will be at Sunnyside Baptist Church (where pictures were taken and where co-op meets) tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov.5th) from 10 AM to 11 AM. I will be there for that one (1) hour only. What you will be receiving is not all the pictures the photographer took if he took more than one. He has chosen the best pose and sent that one and only one proof for you to view. There will be no choosing as it has always been – you either like it or you don’t. If you don’t there will be make up day this coming Friday, November 8th from 10 AM to 2 PM and you are welcome to come have your picture remade. * Seniors * – I have NO proof for you at all. If you came for the day set aside specifically for seniors you were able to view and choose your proofs on the spot that day with the photographer. Whatever you chose and/or ordered will be sent to you directly from the photographer. For those few seniors that came on regular picture day for your drape/tux picture only – I DO NOT have a proof for you as the photographer did not send me anything regarding seniors. HOWEVER, the photographer did send a CD to me for the yearbook and I can pull up your proof for you to view. Please do not ask me to email these to you to view as they are copyright photos and I do not have permission to do that from this photographer. I will bring my computer tomorrow if you want to come by and see your picture in case you want to redo them on makeup day. Your pose that the photographer chose as your best one is stapled to a an order form should you like to order school pictures from the photographer. Again, there have been some issues to work out as I have only pictures – your name is not with your proof. While I know a lot of you, there are MANY I do not know. I have about 100 envelopes to go thru so I hope to have these as organized as possible tomorrow. I will pull those I do know and will write your name on the envelope. Also, I have student photos only – no parent photos. Again, these should be on the CD the photographer gave me for yearbook if you desire to view it before it goes in the yearbook. I know there are many of you that live a good distance from Sunnyside and may not be able to be there during that hour to get your proof. I will be glad to work out another option for you, but please know that I do not have the availability to accommodate everyone’s schedule, but I will work with you the best I can. The BEST option if you want your proof is to come tomorrow if at all possible, OR have someone that is coming to pick it up for you. Please don’t hesitate to email me with additional questions if you still need something clarified. This has been a little overwhelming for our staff, but with your patience and understanding we will do what needs to be done to ensure everyone is happy with their school photo.
