Maria Doyle, Training Director, from NH Children’s Trust, Inc. presented Parkland Medical Centers Women and Children’s Health Services staff with a Certificate of Appreciation for bringing The Period of PURPLE Crying to New Hampshire families. Developed by the National Center of Shaken Baby Syndrome, the program educates parents about a developmental stage of increased crying that can occur when a baby is between two weeks and six months of age. Because of this effort, the program now reaches parents of over 80% of infants born in New Hampshire.
