Marie Woods, CSAT, is a participant in the 12 Principles Retreat series which Dr. Patrick Carnes and Carver Brown facilitate. Marie and others were inspired to create the “AFAR Challenge”- no ice water involved (thank goodness for that). Marie challenged me (and others) to give $100 to AFAR (American Foundation for Addiction Research). AFAR needs approximately $150,000 by the end of year for the research projects currently underway which is so important for the work you are doing and moving addiction recovery forward.
