Marinated Soya Malai Chaap Ingrediants Soya chaap: 500gms Hung Curd: 300 gms (should not be watery) Ginger garlic paste: 2 tsp Lemon: 3 pcs Black pepper powder: 2tsp Salt: 3 tsp Venegar: 1.5 tsp Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp Chaat masala: 1 tsp Kasuri methi: 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder: 1/4 tsp Anardana powder: 1/2 tsp Garlic mashed: 1/2 tsp Amchur: 1/2 tsp Water: 150-200 ml Milk: 100 ml Oil: 2 tsp Take out the sticks from the soya chap. Make 2-3 slight cuts vertically and then cut each chaap into half. Marination part 1 Mix 2 and half lemon juice with 2 tsp salt & 1 tsp of black pepper Apply this juice on each n every piece of chaap. Keep In a big bowl for 15 mins Marination part 2 Add curd to bowl in which u have kept the chaap pieces. Add 1/2 lemon juice, venegar, chaat masala, salt to taste, anardana powder, kasuri methi, ginger garlic paste, mashed garlic, Turmeric powder, amchur, 1/2 tsp black pepper, red chilli powder. Mix it well with chaap and keep covered for 30 mins so the mixture penetrates inside the chaap pieces. Marination is complete Cooking Take 2 tsp oil in a kadai/pan. When the oil heats up add the marinated mixture to the pan. Cook on high flame till the mixture dries up a bit. Now add water & milk and cook over high flame till the marination thickens. As and when u see that the mixture has dried a bit simmer down the flame & cook for another 2-3 minutes till u see all the marinations sticking to chaap pieces. The chaap is ready. Serve hot with onions and green yoghurt chutney. PS: You may stuff it in rumali or normal chapati alongwith chutny & onions to make rolls..
