Mark 1:6-12 John (the Baptist) wore clothing made of camels hair, - TopicsExpress

Mark 1:6-12 John (the Baptist) wore clothing made of camels hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. This was his message, After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stop down and untie. I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the holy spirit. Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and John baptized him in the Jordan. As Jesus came up from the water, he saw heaven open and the Spirit descended upon him like a dove. A voice from heaven said, You are my son, whom I Love, with you I am well pleased. At once the Spirit sent him into the desert for 40 days to be tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him. (I find it interesting the different ways the disciples wrote about the same events.)
