Mark 15:27-38 Tells of a part of the agony that Jesus experienced for you and me. It is there that we read that ...Jesus endured great mocking on the cross and cried out “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” He, for the first time ever, was separated from His Father because He bore our sins in His own body. The curtain in the temple tore from top to bottom when he died. I am so grateful that the Lord endured all that he did for me and that He did not do what He was challenged to do and he could have easily done i. e. Come down from the cross and we will believe you! No He remained there because He was committed to offering salvation for all who would repent and believe on Him. Because the Lord tore the curtain in the Temple from top to bottom at the death of Jesus, we have access to the Lord. May I ask, Do you have a daily time in the Word???? If not, you really need to. You are robbing yourself of a great blessing if you do not.
