Mark 9: 23,24; Jesus said to him, If you believe, all things are possible to him who believes. (24) Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief! NKJV. Just like this man who had a son who had a demon was puzzled why the disciples could not heal him, but it was their unbelief that stopped them. These were the men that Jesus chose to share His word with the world after He ascended to the right hand of the Father, but they still did not believe strongly enough at that moment for the child to be healed. But remember God chose them just as He has chose you, and at the time that we need His strength, He will wipe away all unbelief. Just as there was unbelief then their is unbelief now and we should ask the Lord when we have doubt about anything that we should ask the Lord to wipe that unbelief away, and remember what Christ spoke to His disciples in His discourse about the wealthy entering into the kingdom of God, for their was unbelief concerning His sayings. So we look at what He said in Matthew 19: 26; But Jesus looked at them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. NKJV. So let not unbelief get in our way when it comes to things that look impossible. For the Lord Jesus who died and arose on the third day showed to man that their is no reason for unbelief, for what did he say to the sister of Lazarus when He raised him from the grave. John 11: 40; Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God? NKJV. We too can see the glory of God in many ways today. For it is not the knowledge of man, but of God that allows us to accomplish what seems to us to be the impossible, but we only need to set our unbelief aside and depend on the Lord. When things get bad and we are down, let us always remember who are God is, and that He will help us overcome our unbelief. This doesnt mean that everything is always going to come out as we hope that it will, but we know that it says in; Romans 8: 28; And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. NKJV. Always remember that our Lord sees and knows all things and sometimes its not unbelief that causes us to falter, but the fact that we do not know all of Gods plans for us. So if you are doubting in anything, take it to the Lord in prayer and He will guide us in the way we should go. Amen.
