The West Bloomfield School District is moving to a 1:1 Mobile Learning Environment at the high school level, where students will have the opportunity to use a laptop, Chromebook, or tablet during instruction. Students are encouraged to bring their own devices, but will have the option to use a district-provided device. Parent Information Meetings are scheduled for Thursday, August 14, 2014 and Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at West Bloomfield High School in the Media Center. You may choose to attend one of the following sessions: 9:00-10:00 a.m. or 6:00-7:00 p.m. (either date) Students may: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Use a District provided Chromebooks with restrictions Purchase Option for parents (Chromebook or similar devices) If you wish to purchase the same model Chromebook that WBSD is using, you may use the preferred vendor, Sehi Computer Products, and receive educational pricing. This special pricing has been extended through September 1, 2014. WBSD will be using the 2214874 - Samsung 11” Chromebook Series 3. You can access the WBSD Sehi Computer Product’s portal.
