Market is relatively quiet this morning Overnight Asian shares managed to close in the green following Friday’s encouraging session in Wall Street. So far for today we have seen low volatility on the major currencies as the US will be closed for public holidays. The Yen gained a bit of strength against the greenback but the move remained relatively contained. The EUR/USD is mostly flat hovering around 1.1570 since the opening of the market. With no major news upcoming today and the current light economic calendar we doubt that the pair will move much. Gold remains strong especially given the high probability of ECB’s QE later this week. The precious metal is currently trading slightly below 1280$
