Marks of the True Christian Romans 12:9-21 9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, and serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. 17 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. As I Was Reading And Re-Reading Gods Inspired Words In Romans 12:9-21, I Was Able To Receive An Even Better Understanding Of How God Wants Us To Love One Another According To His Words And His Ways And Not Man’s Ever, Because The Love Of This World Benefits Us Nothing Accept More Misunderstandings And No Realness In Our Relationships. God Does Not Want Us To Be Lazy When It Comes To Him, But To Be Zealous And To Always Serve Him. He Is Asking Us To Be Hopeful And When We Are Being Hopeful To Be Happy About What We Are Hoping For, And When We Are Going Through Things Don’t Be Discouraged And Try And Make Something Happen But Wait Upon God And Allow Him To Make What Is Best For You To Happen. We Should Constantly Be In Prayer No Matter What We Are Doing Or Where We Are At. Verse 16 Is What A Lot Of Us Have A Problem Doing, Living In Harmony With Others And So Many Think Of Themselves Better Than Others, And Sad To Say That A Lot Of Them Are In The Church (Smh), And That Is Why Jesus Hung Out With Those Who Were Considered Misfits (The Lowly, The Trouble Makers, Drug Addicts, Criminals Etc, You Know) How Can He Save Those That Think That They Are To Good Already And Have Done No Wrong And Only Those Like Them Should Be Sitting In The Church (Ya’ll Know I Am Telling The Truth) And It Is Your Own Wisdom That Gets You In Trouble Most Of The Time. (I Wasn’t Trying To Preach But The Holy Spirit Kicked In). Now God Is Telling Us That He Would Prefer For Us To Live Peaceable With All People, But It Is Up To You To Do That, He Will Not Make You (But You All Know That If We Don’t Be Obedient, Then We Suffer The Consequences Of Our Actions, My Momma Use To Tear My Butt Up And A Spiritual Whipping Hurts A Lot More). So Again God Says That When Someone Wrongs You Don’t Get Vengeance, That Way There Will Be No Repercussions That May Follow Your Decision Which Was Done In The Heat Of Anger Or Emotion, Besides When God Gets Vengeance It Will Be Felt A Lot Stronger And Harder And Only That Person Will Suffer, God Said Saith Of The Lord It Shall Be Done (And Done It Will Be). Now Contrary To The Type Of Way You May Be Feeling About Your Enemies, If You Believe What God Says Then When He Ask You To Feed Your Enemy And To Give Your Enemy Something To Drink Then He Says When You Do It Will Pile Heaps Of Burning Coals On Their Head (Okay You All Know That When We Start A Grill Those Coals Are Superhot) Now The Coals God Is Talking About Are The Ones That He Sets On Fire Not Even A Glass Of Water Can Put Them Out, They Will Burn All The Way To The Soul, Just Something To Think About, When You Want To Be In Control. God Bless You All Amen. Father God Please Help Us To Be More Obedient To Your Word And Let Us Be Wise In Your Wisdom And Not Our Own. Help Us To Be More Loving Caring And Compassionate Towards Other And Never Thinking Of Our Selves Better Than Anyone Else Amen. Father God Increase Our Desire To Be More Zealous For You Not So Much For The Things, People And Places In This World First. May We Be Pleasing In Your Sight Lord Which Will Be A Pleasing To The Sight If Others In Jesus Name, May We Love Others As We Want Others To Love Us In Jesus Holy Name Amen.
