Marlboro Country - 1963. A work in progress on a survivor from another era! This is an ongoing project here at Audio Solutions. The challenge here is to restore the audio from an extremely warped and gouged 12 record/transcription disc. In fact, it would not track at 331/3 RPM. We got it to play at the slowest speed possible and digitally restored it to the correct speed while also addressing clicks, pops and other imperfections. Of course, this is also a reminder of an era before cigarette commercials were banned from radio and television as of January 1st, 1971. Marlboro Country commercials were known for the music of Elmer Bernstein from The Magnificent Seven film released in 1960. Audio restored by Joe Evelius at Audio Solutions. Enjoy!
