Marloth Missive It was great to see such a fabulous turnout for yesterdays march. For an isolated little community stuck away in the bush, we certainly came out and showed our colours! I have two of my grandchildren visiting for the week, so Im walking on air! They came down yesterday on the JLS bus from O R Tambo. What a wonderful service that is turning out to be! If you havent tried them yet, you dont know how comfortable and convenient it is. My granddaughter, whos 14, brought her boyfriend with her, so guess whos on chaperone duty all week? He seems a very nice young man. Perhaps my job wont be as difficult as I thought it would be? I was young once too, so Ill trust my memories and keep my eyes peeled! My plan is to walk them a lot and wear them out, so if you see an exhausted-looking, grey-bearded old man stumbling along behind three young teenagers on Marloths dusty roads, youll know its me. Please wave and show your support. Im running out of superlatives to describe the wonder of our sunrises at this time of the year, but early mornings are really something in Spring, arent they?
