Martin Luther King Jr. once said that silence is betrayal. Everyday in the U.S., 7 children will die for childhood cancer. On top of that, 40,000 will be undergoing treatment and 38 kids will receive a cancer diagnosis. Thats more than a classroom of kids dXed a day. If we stay silent, were doing nothing more than betraying these children. 50 States of Hope will not only bring awareness. It will bring unity among advocates, survivors, and families/friends of victims. Our goal is to create a map of the United States with one person representing that state. If we get more than one person from each state, each state may be a collage (which would be even cooler :) ). We want to reach out to our local news stations and newspapers to get the word spread about this organization.
