He was extremely friendly and rolled on his back to have his tummy rubbed. He even allowed me to carry him around. Sadly, this morning we found him under a work vehicle in the forecourt. I remember being concerned that he had crossed a busy main road to get to or place. I think hed been hit by car on the road and crawled under the vehicle to die. We wrapped him in bin bags and placed him on the skip as we didnt know his address (no collar on). Being a cat parent myself, I decided to knock on a few of doors across the road. I got no answer, but one of them had a catflap. I decided to sellotape a note to the door to say what had happened. Later in the afternoon a very distraught girl came in and he was her cat. She said his name was Blade and that he refused to wear a collar. I asked her if she wanted his body and she said yes and that she would have him cremated. He was only 2 years old and her children loved him. I only met him yesterday but he was such a wee friendly soul. At least his family know what happened to him and wouldnt have to keep searching. RIP wee Blade.
