Mary Taylor had the trach tube removed today and is off oxygen. She is enjoying soft food and may even get to take a real shower today! She still has quite a bit of work ahead of her before we think about going home. But her turn around since july 4th has been remarkable. She can probably handle her own updates now. But to everyone who brought us meals, gas cards, resteraunt cards, cut my grass, stopped in to check on her, the girls, and I. To Paul Carrick and Mark Dempsey from Dempseys Resteraunt for catering dinner to the staff at 4 Ross. The great food from stations 7, 13, 18, and Jeff Miller, Mike Brohard and Northstar Cafe, Sean ORourke and Kolatche Republic that kept us all going. Rick Harding for being with me every morning with my coffee and support during the surgeons visit. Angel Vitullo Moss, Erin Jenkins Janiak and Johnny P for their constant help and support. To Sister Clare Reuille thank you for taking the time to listen when i didnt know where to turn. Local 67 Stephen Hennosy and Bruce Rudman thank you so much! All the support from Marys friends Sarah Degen, Barb Lyons, Lisa Dapoz, Wendy Miller; i cant thank you enough. David Burt and Amy Trenor Burt for all you did from day 1. Bo Ewing, Nathan Dunmoyer, Ryan Sweetman, and Brandin OKeefe you all were there for us.And a special thank you to Kris Malone Gundy not sure id have made it through this without you! I know Mary has a lot of physical therapy ahead of her but im confident i will have her home soon. If i negelected to list a name or firehouse everyone has been fantastic you may not be listed but you will never be forgotten. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers
