Mary, our mother and blessed patroness, you were kept free from the first moment of your conception in order to be a pure and splendid dwelling place for your son, Jesus, our redeemer. We honor you as protectress of our land. Under the title of this great gift and mystery, keep us under your motherly care and protect us from all selfishness, sin and harm. Keep our intentions and desires noble and pure so that after living in comformity with the will of your son in this life, we may joyfully enter into the eternal happiness of heaven where you reign as queen of angels and saints. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
