Maryland simply cannot continue going in the same direction. Were in a downward spiral; our tax base is shrinking, were losing our businesses, were losing jobs, were losing taxpayers. We keep raising taxes and then revenue is decreasing because there are less people paying the taxes. Were not going to have money to pay for all the essential services and all the things that are priorities if we keep going in the same direction.
