Masango thanks Amakhosi faithful Kaizer Chiefs goalscorer Mandla Masango has thanked the Amakhosi fans for their belief in him following his man of the match display against Black Aces. Masango, who for the longest time seemed to be going stale at Naturena, has enjoyed a new lease on life this season and scored his third goal in three games against AmaZayoni. The former South Africa youth international, now 25, prefers to keep a level head on his shoulders rather than get carried away. Id like to thank God for the blessing and Id like to thank my family for their support, and to the Amakhosi supporters and the technical team, thanks for your undying support, Masango said after receiving his Absa Man of the Match award. First of all its all because of my teammates and the technical team, they believed in my ability so I kept on working hard even though things werent in my favour. But I kept going and now slowly but surely Im reaping the rewards, but theres a lot of room for improvement, he adds. The coach kept telling me that I need to work hard to make sure that whenever the opportunity comes I grab it, so thats what Im on the verge of doing at the moment, Im taking it each game at a time.
