Masjid Haatin in Samerbagh, Jandool (Lower Dir), in KPK - damaged due to a fire caused by an electricity power short circuit on the night of 17th May 2013. At the request of the local community elders, we have carried carried out an extensive and comprehensive site condition survey of the now defunct masjid. This masjid is situated along a spring water stream and amongst several Chinar trees - a very peaceful, serene and quaint village is the upkeeper. The roof was completely fabricated out of local timber material. That and the mushaf (Quran) copies stored in the masjid were completely burnt to ashes. The local community now lack a masjid for their use - furthermore, the two hundred or so students who were enrolled for the Quranic education classes are without a purposeful venue. Classes are held but they are open to the elements. WANT TO PARTAKE IN THIS MOST NOBLE CAUSE OF PROVIDING THEM WITH THE NECESSARY PLACE OF WORSHIP? WHY NOT SET UP A SYNDICATE OF MUSLIMS WHO CAN ALL SHARE THE REWARD OF BUILDING THIS HOUSE OF ALLAH. TOTAL COST ESTIMATE FOR REBUILDING MASJID=PKR 20 LAKH (INCL PROVISION OF SAFE CLEAN DRINKING WATER TUBEWELL, WUDHU AREA) INTERESTED?
