Masonicare Home Health & Hospice is pleased to invite the community to attend a free Bereavement Retreat on Monday, September 16. The retreat will be held at Masonicare at Ashlar Village, Cheshire Road in Wallingford, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the auditorium at the Hartog Activities Center. A complimentary continental breakfast will be provided. “Grief Relief” is an educational and interactive workshop for individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The Retreat will give participants the opportunity to learn and explore techniques to attend to the heartache of grief. Attendees will also be able to connect with other bereaved individuals in a safe, supportive atmosphere. Facilitators include Lisa Stanley, LPC, Masonicare Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, Jean Morris, MARS, Masonicare Hospice Spiritual Care Coordinator, and Maureen Dagan, MSW, CYT, owner/director of Satya Therapy, LLC.
