A modern man, adventurous,bold, clever,was lost in the desert.He wandered aimlessly,sustained at first that he would be found by the science ,the cleverness,of his fellow man.Days passed.The merciless sun parched and dehydrated his body.He became feverish and thoughts of how long it would take him to die of thirst burned in his mind.Exhausted,he fell into a fitful sleep and dreamed of water,of food,the comfort of life.He woke to a greater agony , dragged himself up and staggered on.Suddenly, in the distance, he thought he saw trees-an oasis.Being a thouroughly modern man and widely read,he knew this to be a mirage. As he drew nearer, however,it did not disappear indeed he could painly see the date palms, the grass, and from between the rocks a spring flowed gently.How can nature be so cruel, he wondered,for even now he imagined that he could hear the merry tinkling of the water.In the midst of these thoughts he collapsed and died, cursing God, nature and the inexorable cruelty of life.yes that was the morden man ,he did not believe, he dreamed of other things
