Massena PD Public Record TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2013 ARTICLE OPTIONS A A print this article e-mail this article MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT - MASSENA - A Massena man was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital after he put his motorcycle down to avoid striking two pedestrians Monday evening on Maple Street. Village police said Francis J. Carvel, 61, of South Raquette Road, Massena, was westbound on Maple Street at 7:51 p.m. Monday when a person pushing a stroller and another person walking a dog apparently didn’t see the approaching 2009 Suzuki and started crossing the street in his path, forcing Carvel to put the motorcycle down in the street. Carvel was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital for evaluation and released. DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Billy L. Davis, 35, of 33 Douglas Road, Massena, with disorderly conduct at 9:06 p.m. Monday. Police said they responded to a domestic dispute complaint and Davis was charged after he was argumentative with police and refused to comply with several requests to alter his behavior.
