Masturbation: Why Are We So Shy? Obviously, there is a time and a place for masturbation and it’s certainly not at the back of a cinema, as Anna Kendrick joked earlier this week. On Tuesday, Anna wrote on her Twitter “Ugh - NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered ‘inappropriate’.” Obviously, she was joking but many have taken offence to her comment and Anna herself has now been deemed inappropriate for posting the comment. Now, we’re not suggesting that the next time you go to the cinema you pleasure yourself all the way through it, because THAT would be inappropriate, but there is no reason we should be so shy about the fact that it is something we do!
