The win sees Eastwood move up to 5th place in the league. Eastwood started the game strongly and they went ahead in the fifth minute. Gavin Campbell picked up the ball on the half way line before driving towards the St Cadocs goal and passing the ball to William Armstrong on the right hand side of the box. William controlled the ball and fired into the corner of the net.Eastwood dominated the early exchanges and they looked particularly strong down the right hand side with full back Ross Cosgrove and William Armstrong linking up well.Despite their dominance Eastwood had to wait until the 25th minute for the second goal.A Matt Murphy corner picked out Wiliam Sewell on the right hand side of the box and William shot into the net off the underside of the bar.The 3rd goal came from another Matt Murphy corner on 32 minutes. St Cadocs failed to clear the ball and William Armstrong shot home from close range. Five minutes later it was 4 - 0 when Josh Jess controlled a throw in from Ross Cosgrove before firing in an unstoppable shot from 20 yards.St Cadocs best chance of the first half came just on half time following some hesitancy in the Eastwood defence but home keeper Ryan Truesdale did well to turn the ball past the post.( HT 4 - 0 )Eastwood continued to dominate possession in the second half but struggled to create many chances as St Cadocs tightened things up at the back.The fifth goal finally arrived after 70 minutes. Josh Jesss free kick was well saved by the St Cadocs keeper but Jake McPhillips was on hand to knock home the rebound.( FT 5 - 0 )
