Match Report Northcote Park v Lower Plenty Good days at Bill Lawry Oval on Saturday having all 3 sides get the 4 points. This week were off to Memorial Park to take on Greensborough Seniors A very windy day at Bill Lawry oval making it difficult to kick goals. Going into the half time break we were 5 points up Lower had a good second quarter kicking 4 goals straight. Second half we had most of the play but still finding hard to kick goals. Bronik kicked 2 on his left while Joel kicked 2 in the last to win by 20 points. Julian, Daniel and Will were better players on the day. Reserves The reserves had a big win all the boys combined well Raid kicked 3 for his B’day while Will, Blake and David kicked 2 each. We ran the ball into the wind looked for team mate and it payed dividends. Better players on the day were Dylan, Craig and Will good game boys. U19s Another good win by the boys we found it hard to put the ball through the big sticks kicking 8-16 due to the wind blowing all over the place. James Hodder was back in the side after a few weeks off with injury had a very good game. Thank you to Alex, Daniel, Matt, Huwyn and Brandon from the 17s who helped us out. Better players are Lachlan, James and Nik. Social The Sunday sportsperson day was a good one with Crackers Keenan telling a few stories and interviewing Boomer also Richard the comedian was at his best. A disappointing crowd but those who did turn up had a great day. Thank you to Dennis and Stef and Cliff behind the bar and the girls in the kitchen and canteen.
