Mathematics Simplified (1) What is Mathematics? Mathematics can be thought of the language we use to read the language of that describes all natural phenomena. Example: You are now reading my post, why? The post consists of letters each letter beside the other forms a word, and each word has a certain property (i.e. verb, adjective, adverb, etc....), the property of this word in mix with other words forms a sentence. This sentence can deliver a certain meaning. Now a group of sentences makes a paragraph which delivers a certain idea or story. Let’s summarize the previous Letters ==> Word ==> Sentences ==> Paragraph Sound ==> Property ==> Meaning ==> Idea Same thing with Math, there is letters, words, sentences and paragraph. Now Math is used to tell the story or idea of how nature behaves around us. And as we progress in math the complexity increases (same as what happens in linguistics), but we need to always remember what is math and why are we using it.
