Mathew 28:18-20 Baptism (in my opinion) is an outward expression of an inward acceptance of Christ permeating your heart and mind. Many churches have applied their own methods or ideologies on the practice. Everything from baptizing at birth or anointing with oil to not allowing until of a sufficient age or having to confirm a prior right. Im not proposing one is correct or another wrong. I am simply an advocate of each individual interpreting and implying the WORD and not of following blindly the doctrines instituted by any established church. I truly believe in the Grace of God which is free and given to ALL. In the verse listed above we, as baptized believers, are tasked with spreading the word and introducing Christ to the world and as such are ALL followers of Christ who consider themselves to be His disciples. Today I was honored to see one of my nephews, on his own free will, participate in the sacrament of baptism. I am so proud of him for not fearing to make an outward profession his own inner faith. May the peace of The Lord, which passeth all understanding, abide all your days and nights.
