Matthew 11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. Insert the word "America" in place of Capernaum, and re-read. God has blessed mightily in America historically. It is obvious He has had His hand of protection on our nation. I fear this hand has been pulled back. We have Bibles on every bookshelf, churches on every corner, Christian radio stations and TV channels, whole stores dedicated to Christianity, and more iniquity than any nation ever in the history of creation. To have such exposure to God, and still be so far from Him is unacceptable. Ours is a soft version of the Gospel these days, unable to knock down the weakest of strongholds. Well, now our true adversary, stalking about as a roaring lion, is having his way. Look at the news, look at government. Are these men of God doing His will? I think not; He knows not. Ready yourselves: the decline is here, the end is near, and the final act is coming soon. Spread the Word like never before. Many of you have never before. We will stand before a just God and answer for all we do, or fail to do. Are you happy with your performance thus far? Have you run a good race, or merely limped along, or perhaps never even left the bench? Have you fought a good fight, or are you happy laying down to avoid a few punches? Be ready. The end is nearing. Repent, for the kingdom is at hand.
