Matthew 11:28 reads like this.....Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. There arent many words that give comfort like that. Christ, the Author of all things good is inviting us to Himself. His door of hospitality is never closed as we live and breathe. He says come! Not run away. Not duck your head. Not find another way. He says come to Me. Not one Word in scripture was written without it being God-breathed. He means what He says; Burdens, weariness, sadness, misunderstandings, pain, insecurities????? Run to the Father...go to your prayer closet, your backyard, or just right where you are. Tell Him of your burdens...after the tears, Im believing that rest in Christ will come. Praying for all of those with burdens today.
