Matthew 15:1-2,10-14 | One of the greatest things that Jesus showed us is his faith in His Fathers will; he had complete trust that the Father would not abandon him and would do everything in His power to help Jesus complete his mission. Jesus was able to see through religious red tape and outdated conventions and zero in on what was truly essential and necessary. Through personal prayer, contemplative reading of the Scriptures, active participation in the Sacraments and harmonious interaction with the believing community, we can develop a more personal relationship with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Today, we ask that we may be able to discern what it is that we have to do in order to deepen our relationship with God.
