Matthew 17:27 “However, so that we do not offend them, go to the sea and throw in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up; and when you open its mouth, you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for you and Me.” ~ Not only did Jesus know that Peter had been talking to the tax collectors, He also knew that someone dropped a coin in the lake, that the coin had caught the attention of a fish and that of all the fish in the lake, that particular one would be the first one to bite on Peters hook that day. Jesus foreknowledge is amazing. You should be impressed.
