Maureen Gill Excellent Win for Justice! See, this is why I do not give up on the system... we have a legal system that works more often than it does not and despite its myriad flaws remains one of the better legal systems in the world. That is not to say that we dont need to be vigilant and work hard to keep it so (we must!) but that we should not paint with too broad a brush and say all lawyers and judges are ineffective or corrupt. Here is a case where the legal community punished -- in a very big way! -- one of its own -- and not just some ham & egger small town lawyer either but the states Attorney General. THAT, my friends, especially coming out of Kansas, is pretty damn impressive. This is a big win for Planned Parenthood and of course democracy itself. When a prosecutor is out of control and unethical it is a very, very dangerous thing... Kudos to the Kansas Supreme Court for this UNANIMOUS decision. Please share!
