Maxi does not want to go to bed, 1969. Hildegard Mirjam Rosenthal, 17. 9. 1913 in Görlitz, Germany - emigrated to Palestine in 1933, was married with the Austrian Friedrich Lobe and both then went to Vienna in 1949. She then called herself Mira Lobe and many of her nice children books were illustrated by the Vorarlberg lady Susanne Weigel. It is the typical late 1960ies kind to educate children not with You are not allowed! but better to show them how things can be if parents allow there little daughter to play in park after sun went down and its get dark: her little Pony there is in stable behind a locked door and she is a lonely little girl in the cold night. Then she wants to play with sand and flowers to bake some cakes and is frightened by a noise: a big man sleeps on a bank. Maxi dashed away through the sleeping town, between some cars and when she is safe back in bed she understands her parents. I love that book very much. German version of my redaing report soon on oesterreichischeswerbemuseum.jimdo
