Maxs Producer Tips: Part 4 When making the bass on my tracks I always use at least two bass sounds. A sub bass, which is clean, and EQd to cut out anything that isnt in the low/sub end. I then use another sound as the main bass sound, this sound is more rough and is EQd so that all of the sub frequencies are cut out as well as the top end. I sometimes layer other sounds on top to thicken the bass. By doing this, you can create a very powerful bass, with a clean low end and a rough and energetic top end which will greatly improve your productions!
