May 1: Astrological Commentaries from Bali. Hello everyone. Here is the final portion of my brief comments on the trines of the planets. The trines of Neptune: Any aspect of Neptune can be interpreted as a “melt down.” The higher purpose of this planet is to dissolve away all impediments to the attainment of a greater form of love or beauty in our lives. The “lower purpose” of Neptune’s effects on our charts is to bring forth a cloud of illusion, one that keeps us in the nebulous waters of undifferentiated desires and urges. Neptune during the whole of 2014 travels between 4 and 7 degrees of Pisces. Thus these degrees in Scorpio and Cancer will receive the trines. The planet or point in your natal chart so blessed will become super-sensitized, opening you to new dimensions of its effects in your life. What this means specifically can only be asessed from a personal reading of the chart, but in general my comment about supersensitivity and new (more subtle) dimensions will have to suffice. When he is at his best, Neptune will enhance your vision and help you to see beyond the ordinary perception of space and time. Thus if you have Venus at Neptune’s trine points, you probably met a very special person, one who really swept you away with his or her beauty, artistry, and grace. Another interpretation for this position would be that you found an artistic or musical expression for some of your own innate talents. The trines of Pluto: Due to its slow passage through the heavens, Pluto’s transits are the longest and its influence is among the most profound of any of the planets. In terms of the trines for the rest of this year,people with 10-14 degrees of Taurus and/or Virgo will be favored by the opportunities to enhance, regenerate, and transform (upgade) their financial and/orcareer positions. The trines of Pluto give the opportunity to regenerate resources in ways that feel natural and oraganic in their developmental unfoldment. All transits of Pluto produce death and empty spaces but the trines allow such transitions to be experienced as natural ones and the emptiness that comes along with such experiences are soon filled with better life situations than the one’s that were taken away. Thus Pluto trine to your natal Sun, will give you renewed vigor and vitality—for two years!!! That´s quite the cosmic Vitamin B shot! I do not care what grade or category the astronomers assign to Pluto--he is far away and tiny but a most powerful planet--we never should underestimate the potency of Hades nor the process of regeneration.
