May 3. Took a boat ride out to the gap and to my surprise, for as far as we could see from the gap, the lake was ice free! Looks like we will have more than just the river and bay to fish this coming weekend for walleye opener! Hopefully the weather cooperates. We do have a seasonal RV site still open for the summer if you or anyone you know is interested. See you on the water. Keep your hooks sharp!
