May Allah Reward you all for your prayers and condolences. We appreciate every single response and we pray that Allah bless us all with a Good ending. For the records, Nuradeen was born in Dec 1960, and I am 2 month his senior. He suffered SS disease from infancy and because of the recurrent health crisis associated with the disease, at 51+ he is medically considered one of the lucky survivals of this genetic disease. He attended normal primary and secondary schools. Apparently his major trail in this worldly life of tribulation is his health issues otherwise he has led a life of piety. He doesn’t deceive, nor tell lies. He keeps to himself and doesn’t interfere with other people’s business. He doesn’t beg for his needs or anything. Though he has a TV set he seldom ever watches it. A man who knows Nuradeen very well said to me: “even though Humans cannot know in what ways, other humans can offend Allah, when we say May Allah forgive him, I don’t know from what sins?” I think that is what qualifies him to be called ‘khalifa’. We all know that sickness expatiates our sins and iniquities. May Allah Have mercy upon him and all the deceased Muslims. Ãmin. inji AHMAD GUMI
