May I tell you a story? Was witness to a lovely offering of hospitality this afternoon. 2 couples of a certain vintage were sitting at tables beside one another in a small cafe. They got chatting over lunch. One couple left before the other. On the way out, they paid for the seated couples lunch. The ones who paid were local Nova Scotians. The ones who were stunned and surprised by the gesture were from Auz, via USA in a rented Winnebago. They thanked the locals and were still discussing it between themselves when the waitress came over. They asked about the couple and found out they were regulars and the act was typical of them. The waitress left. As they continued to discuss what had happened, I interjected, Welcome to NS, grinning from ear to ear.
