May the container of the lamp become as vast as the three thousand trillion world system. May the wick become as tall as Mt. Sumeru, the King of Mountains. May the butter become as vast as a great ocean. May there appear, in front of each Buddha, a hundred million lamp offerings. May the rays of light eliminate the darkness and ignorance of all beings, from the highest peak of existence down to the lowest hell Avici; thus, illuminating the pure realms of the Buddhas and bodhisattvas of the ten directions. OṂ VAJRA A LOKE AH HUNG. Wondrous! We sincerely offer the brilliance of this magnificent lamp to the thousand Buddhas of this Good Kalpa, and to those who are in the immeasurable field of perfect realms, the gurus, yidam deities, dakinis, protectors, and the divine deities of all mandalas. May this benefit all sentient beings, including our parents of this life, and throughout all rebirths. May they all be able to see directly the perfect fields of Buddhas, and ultimately, may all become inseparable from Buddha Amitabha. By the blessings of the Three Jewels and the Three Roots, as well as the power of the truth, please grant us the blessing that all aspirations made will be swiftly fulfilled.
