Maya Angelous passing on brings up new vistas that we as a human race should look towards moving towards. As a brilliant feminist, she penned the poem, Phenomenal Woman. As a move towards social justice and greater equality, i have in turn penned a poem Phenomenal Man, that ensures that we men are just as equally celebrated. Handsome men wonder where my secret lies Im not tall or built with a Calvin Klein boxer models bulging size But when i start to tell them, They think im telling lies. I say, Its in the round of my pecs the hardness of my abs the arrogance in my saunter the bend of my bicep, Im a man phenomenally. Phenomenal man, thats me. I walk into a room, Just as cool as you please And to a women, The sisters stand or Fall down on their knees Then they swarm around me, a hive of honey bees. I say, its the smoulder in my eyes the wickedness of my grin the jerk of my hips and the ruggedness of my shin. Im a man phenomenally. Phenomenal man, thats me. Women themselves have wondered what they see in me they try so much but they cant touch my inner mystery. When i try to show them, they say they still cant see. I say, its in the firmness of my buttock the gleam of my smile the peaking of my pecs the animalness of my style. Im a man phenomenally. Phenomenal man, thats me. Now you understand Just why my heads not bowed I dont shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud When you see me passing It ought to make you proud I say Its in the stiffness of my tongue as it nestles in your hairs the palm of my hand as it rubs you down there Cause im a man phenomenally. Phenomenal man, thats me.
