Maybe Id stop discussing politics for some time as a lot of us are too not ready to understand our Nations politics; its either we are deliberately forgetful, unwilling to understudy our system or not ready to learn from our political history as a nation. Id always recommend we seek answers from our elders who would at least relate to us what we read from books and papers; there could be bias though, but a good elder would always give you the two sides of the coin. I believe wed also have to share our experience today with our future leaders tomorrow. For the records, please be reminded that POLITICS, GOVERNANCE, LEADERSHIP and ADMINISTRATION are different from one another. They could be interwoven most times though. A good politician doesnt translate to a good administrator and vice versa. And, a good mastery of all four elements would give us the perfect Leader we all desire; that could be rare, though possible. So, If we want a better society tomorrow, wed have to work on ourselves in these areas from now. If weve all acknowledged that yesterdays leaders of tomorrow have failed us today, then we should work towards ensuring that we offer a brighter future today, to tomorrows leaders. Things ought to get better. We should always be positive and optimistic but not lose sight of realities. It begins with me!
