Mayor pro-tem Jimmy Carter spoke last Saturday at the Kentucky motorcycle safety day at the Big Sandy Community and Technical College in Pikeville. On behalf of the city commission he welcomed all the riders to Pikeville and emphasized how happy the Commission is to have Pikeville as the host of such an important event. The day kicked off around 10 a.m. featuring seminars on rider safety, insurance issues and other topics related to motorcycle safety.
