McCayla was finally released from Overlake today and has spent the morning talking and singing to Noah which he seems to be enjoying. There are no big action plans for today. The doctors want Noah to continue to receive the maximum dosage of his new medicine and they will do another ECHO tomorrow and see if the pressure in his heart is still improving. Noah is peeing really well and is definitely less puffy than the last few days. They have been able to almost fully get him off Dopamine while maintaining a good blood pressure. Please pray that the new medicine does its job so that they can start trialing him off the ECMO machine soon. We are excited to be able to go home tonight and sleep in our own bed for only the second time in 10 days. We are looking forward to a home cooked meal and a feeling of comfort and normalcy. What love the Father has lavished upon us that we should be called His children.
