McDonalds should pay $15 bucks an hour or at the least give their employees a profit sharing. McDonalds reported a 30% loss in net income in the third quarter of this year. That equates to only 1.07 billion in profit! Poor share holders, how will they survive now? Remember that $1.07 billion is only for ONE quarter not all four! ANY company that makes BILLIONS of dollars in profits and pay its employees minimum wage is just WRONG! That is greed 101! Technically the same requirements that McDonalds have in hiring is the same that a lot of other NONSKILLED labor jobs have also the only difference is most decent paying non skilled jobs have a union and they dont. Collective bargaining is very powerful and insures a LIVABLE wage for the people they represent! Do yall think for one second that Ford, GM, & Chrysler would be paying the rate theyre paying if it wasnt for the uaw? They dont love their employees no more than the CEO s of McDonalds love theirs! In closing - if these fast food restaurants dont want to pay up the least they can do is share the profit!
