McKees ER sucks! We took our youngest in today. Our home ear thermometer read 104. My wife took her temp to test the thermometer hers was 98.4. Gave him some Tylenol before we left for the ER an hour later they took him back to go vitals of course by then the meds kick in. Another hour later they take him back and They tell us hes fine they see nothing wrong. Before we leave tammi takes his temp again 103.7. She shows the nurse that her temp is normal davians is high. They say yeah we dont use ear thermometers hes fine. All day his fever has been between 100 and 104. Giving him fluids and Tylenol but it wont stay down. Why doesnt the ER docs listen when parents are concerned instead of making it seem like we are crazy?
