Me: We dont have any apartment vacancies, and you may wish to visit and consider the implications of placing an 80+ year old lady with dementia on a property with no fences so close to a busy highway. Her: Youre discriminating and Im calling the state and youre in big trouble mister and youre going to be on the news. Me: Well, ok then. Give it your best shot. Expressing concern for someones safety is not discrimination. Ive rented to every possible protected class, and anyone who knows me is aware I go insane whenever someone mistreats or even discusses those with disabilities in an unfair manner.
