Me and Daddy came home last night. Mamas sisters are staying with her this weekend. She is doing well and working very hard with her therapy. Considering less than two weeks ago she could not even sit alone I feel like she is doing great. She can transfer herself from the bed to chair and is standing for about 2 minutes with assistance. She is not walking yet but feels like she could. The therapist does not want her walking until she builds more muscle tone in her legs. They had withered away to nothing but she is getting muscle back now. They had originally told us she may have to stay in rehab 3-4 weeks but she has done so well they are planning on discharging her next Wed ( which is Kara Jollys 16th birthday). They will get physical and occupational therapy to come to her home. Her main obstacle is her vision. She has lost probably 90 percent of her vision. The doctors say that this could come back given time. We truly believe she will see again. Everyone keep praying for continued healing of her cancer and for her vision to be restored. She is very strong and I know she will see and walk again. God is good and we are very blessed.
