Me and Soheil were discussing about Persian instruments and the question was if these instruments are well-developed or not? I think the instruments need development but before that we should work on all undiscovered sides. Unfortunately Iranian Classic Music teachers are trying to produce voices like Mohammad-Reza Shajarian and players like Hossein Alizadeh which we have already!!! When we are talking about deconstructionism in Iranian Music, a few tags come: e.g. Mohsen Namjoo and people are arguing about his character and all other unrelated stuff! I am not talking about one or two person. I am talking about soul of art. even classical art .. even classical! Lets see what are European doing for their music. Do or Dont they develop new techniques, new modes, new fusions in the frame of all classical foundations? Why are people in this video surprised by performance of Mohammad Mortazavis on Tombak ?
