Me & my people take exceptions to most posts that are on social media advising Nigerians to stay off public places and if they should, to be at alert. This is ill fated and cowardly. Nigerians should please go about their daily jobs,activities and feel free in your country but, make sure you do the right things. Politicians are no faceless beings nor Draculla. They are not fools gunning for our votes to be what they want to be and serve their Nation. Dont allow people to drive fear of the unknown into you. Be bold and stand for your right as Nigerian. People should desist from creating un-necessary tension for innocent citizens, especially in the South East and South Southern States. Elections comes and goes, we have seen so much of them in our time. Its only the greedy, stupid and feeble minded people that will continue in their old ways, capitalising on empty threats to cause disharmony in the country. We are matured to handle elections and the results. Its no different from what obtains outside our shores. My little knowledge of History have shown that advanced societies like USA, UK, EUROPE & ASIA went through rough times to get to where they are today. Even at that, there are still problems that goes with maintaining peace and harmony. My country men and women: IGNORE naivety, empty threats, bias and move on with your daily lives. Any among contestants that wins, can never be loved by all and will never be there for ever. If elections results are anything to go by; dont forget that good people accept those results for peace to reign because times have proven that the MAJORITY in every society are bad people and they carry the VOTE.
